  1. How long have you been here with us? This is my 26th year.

  2. What mattered the most about being a teacher? Making a difference in students’ lives

  3. What helped you the most to communicate with or get through to students (how about parents) Being honest and consistent

  4. What do you love the most about being a teacher? Watching students change and grow into wonderful people

  5. What will you miss the most when you retire? My school family

  6. What advice would you give a young teacher? Be consistent and fair

  7. If you could tell a student one last thing before leaving, what would that statement be? Always do your best and Stand Up For What Is Right, Even If You’re Standing Alone

  8. Anything else you would like the community of YC to know? I have enjoyed teaching each and every one of your students. Thank you.
