2018-2020 SAT-ACT Dates
1). It’s the time of year when two very important tasks need tending by Seniors in ASPIRE.
a. Seniors MUST complete the ASPIRE exit survey – which literally takes a few minutes. HERE IS THE LINK TO IT. This can be done on computer or phone. There is also a shortcut to the survey on the desktop of the computers in ASPIRE. When you submit your survey, it pays forward – helping to ensure ASPIRE is funded next year. Your comments also help ASPIRE improve how it can help students in the future. Thank you!
b. If you’ve attended Senior Assemblies in the past, you’ll recall that the graduates are recognized and honored for the scholarships and grants they have received to help pay for college. We will begin collecting that info from you THIS WEEK. Please remember to check or have on hand your Student Aid Report from FAFSA and the financial aid offers you’ve received from ALL colleges where you applied.
2.) Juniors, sophomores and freshmen: If you have an interest in attending an Ivy League school, reps from Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn and Stanford will be in Portland on May 14 to help students explore college options. 7-8:30 p.m. at Crowne Plaza Portland - Downtown Convention Center, 1441 NE 2nd Ave, Portland, OR 97232. Arriving 15 to 20 minutes beforehand is suggested in order to complete the sign-in process and find a seat. Self-parking is $10 per car. Learn more here: https://www.exploringcollegeoptions.org/.
